OUR ETIQUETTE

To enter in the house of a person you do not know and that doesn't know you, but who welcomes you as their guest, together with other people that you probably do not know, allowing you to become "companions" (companion is derived from cum panis, which means "with whom I break the bread") on a trip that brings you to the origins of our roots, constituting an important human event, perhaps previously only possible for the medieval traveller but almost unthinkable in our day and age.

You need to have an awareness of this rare opportunity and to behave in such a way as not to disparage it, on the contrary to make it real and natural in it’s potential. Basic elements of behaviour that should be followed:

  • Remember that you are a guest. Any criticism or remonstration should be made to and will be handled by the Association, never to the Cesarina.  Bad manners or incorrect behaviour towards the Cesarina may render the Partner subject to expulsion from the Association.
  • Remember that the scope of the event is to acquire and/or consolidate our typical Gastronomic Culinary Culture, which happens through the practical illustration of the recipes together with a narration of their history which often interweaves it with the host Family, and the eventual tasting of those recipes, in a way that the Discussion and Dialogue on these themes is suitable and deepened, responding to the spirit of the Project and contributing to its result.
  • It is absolutely necessary to be punctual; those guests who do not arrive in time with lose the Event in whole or in part and will not be eligible for a refund of the contribution paid.
