Events and Journeys

Home Food organises culinary-gastronomic cultural Events preferably at the homes of the Cesarine (see: The Cesarine) (Ladies and Gentlemen partners of the Association who, experts in the typical culinary-gastronomic art, have agreed to share their knowledge and experience with other partners of the Association)  but also in other places of cultural interest (museums, historic houses, castles, old farms and many other places). 

During the Events a pre-defined journey is proposed which covers, amongst other things, the historical illustration of recipes and/or traditional dishes, the explanation of procedures of preparation and the eventual tasting of those dishes, presented as deemed necessary by the historical-gastronomic culture. 

A brochure illustrating the journey traced by the Event is given to every attending Guest.   

All levels of traditional food are in play and are introduced and illustrated in their varied environments: from a homely kitchen in its essential simplicity to one adorned by precious china accompanied by refined music, from a modest dining room to a sumptuous aristocratic palazzo.

The event takes it's name from a journey which is repeated many times, but that can change according to the season.

Only the Partners (see: To become a User Partner) can participate in the Events which may be standard or personalised (see: To participate in an Event).
